Community Impact

As an Indigenous-owned and operated company, Winyama prioritises supporting and collaborating with fellow Indigenous businesses. By doing so, we are able to contribute to the community through the following ways:

Economic empowerment: Our support of Indigenous businesses and organisations helps foster economic growth within the community.

Job creation: By partnering with Indigenous companies, we contribute to the creation of employment opportunities for Indigenous people, promoting sustainable livelihoods.

Cultural preservation: Through our collaborations, we actively empower and give Indigenous people a space to preserve and promote Indigenous cultures, traditions, and knowledge, enriching the fabric of their communities.

Community development: The businesses and organisations we support generate positive social impact, investing in community development projects and initiatives that benefit all residents.

Impact Through our Work

Winyama plays a crucial role in promoting cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and Indigenous rights protection.

Our involvement in heritage and cultural mapping helps document and preserve Indigenous cultural heritage. We collaborate with government agencies, Indigenous groups, and research institutions. Winyama also excels in land and environmental monitoring, addressing environmental concerns by tracking land use and ecological changes.

Our commitment to native title tenure management ensures the legal recognition of Indigenous Australians' traditional land rights, contributing to the protection of Indigenous heritage and equitable land use agreements. Winyama's impact spans these essential areas, fostering a more sustainable and culturally respectful approach to land and heritage management.
